Dr. Jomyir Jini

Dr. Jomyir Jini is an Author/Poet residing in the midst of nature in Arunachal Pradesh.

Originally from Naharlagun, a Galo girl hailing from the village of Logum Jini, Jomyir remains a small-town girl who stood firm against the limited options presented to her, embracing a life of fulfillment.

She organized a unique Poetry Session in her home state, extending beyond academic circles to the general public, aiming to promote the beauty of literature. Her performance, 'Seasons of Love,' a forty-five-minute poetry set, was well-received and widely praised throughout the state.

She is the author of the poetry collection "Sanity in Vanity," dedicated to all the mental health warriors battling the invisible war within their minds with each passing day.

Her latest artistic endeavor is a Hindi poetry collection titled ‘ तुम्हारी प्रिय’ (Tumhari priy), featuring a transliteration of her Hindi poems into English.

At the age of fourteen, her first artwork was published in the July 2010 edition of a Hindi magazine called 'Sahitya Amrit: Navankur,' as well as in another Hindi magazine named 'Kamal Kranti'.

Throughout the years, she has been involved with various Literature Festivals, Webinars, and Presentations through associations with the Arunachal Pradesh Literary Society, Zubaan Projects, and Sahitya Akademi. Her writings reflect a wide spectrum of human emotions, often portraying hope by seeking humanity in individuals.
