She completed her education at various Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas in Palin, a region enveloped by breathtaking mountains and rich rural sanctity, elements that profoundly influence her writing.
From a young age, Charu stood out in her classroom as the girl who expressed herself through stories and poems, exploring the depths of human emotions such as friendship, love, and the melancholy of self-discovery. After earning her Bachelor's degree in Economics from Don Bosco College in Itanagar, she pursued a Master's degree in Economics at Rajiv Gandhi University in Doimukh, Arunachal Pradesh.
Her passion for writing culminated in her debut book, "The Lighthouse: Healing and Home," an anthology comprising 47 poems she crafted over the years. This collection reflects her musings on themes such as friendship, self-introspection, the beauty of nature, past traumas, and the significance of various people and places in her life.
Charu's second anthology, "The Caged Bird," is a collaborative effort featuring many emerging poets and writers from Arunachal Pradesh, compiled by Miss Rangne Sorang. This work delves into diverse topics ranging from self-independence and self-discovery to the critical importance of mental health.
In addition to her writing, Charu has a profound passion for reading and enjoys nurturing flowers such as marigolds, bougainvilleas, and cosmos. She also loves traveling to remote, old rural towns, finding solace and inspiration in close proximity to nature.
